Al-Mutanabbi's famous lines on the ebb and flow of tears between sorrow and forbearance: Sorrow agitates and patience stays, and tears between them relent and resist. They compete over the tears of a wakeful eye, one draws them out and the other pulls back.

A vigil-installation in Clark Park in memory of the Palestinian victims of Israeli aggression. The sheets in the trees are names of some of the 8,000 victims since Oct. 7th. The 1627 flags in the ground are names of victims in 2014. This genocide has been ongoing for 75 years.
