The issue is how do we subdue inflation...the goal should never be to wipe out the equity people have in their primary residence..for a first time buyer purchasing tomorrow can you imagine if a week later the value of your home dropped by 25% I won’t advocate for that.

So... Juan Huang of West Vancouver buys a Shaughnessy mansion for 10 million and rents it to his listing realtor who Airbnbs the entire house while living in the basement.

Barcelona is banning Airbnb.
The mayor has announced that he will not renew the licenses for any of the over 10,000 short-term tourist rentals in the city.
By 2028 all of these apartments and houses will go back into the rental market for local residents.
