Sadly, we read about these accounts every few months. I have noticed a pattern... It’s always women who have their hotels broken into at night while they are sleeping and it is always by a male member of the hotel’s staff. This is not a coincidence.

@ArtcaffeKenya Please read the room Artcaffe. Exposure as currency is no longer a thing. An internship & a cup of coffee is poor reward for a designer creating artwork for your commercial use. ‘Exhibition space’ also benefits you more than the creative - more design work that you get for free.

😅 I learned this when I tried to buy flowers online in Lagos. Kes 35,000 for a large bunch. I humbly told my friend I’d buy her something else for her birthday. Same bunch would cost Kes 1500 at home. We take for granted that we’re the 4th largest flower exporter in the world.
