It’ been so difficult for Kenny, Laura, Fin and other colleagues to speak openly about this. I’m glad they have. It’s easy to forget that Police Officers are human too and very day they put themselves in danger to protect the public. Please don’t take them for granted ❤️👮🏻‍♀️👮🏽‍♂️

Disappointed that the Cab Sec for Justice believes co-location of services is of greater value than cell provision. Yet to speak to a serving or retired officer who doesn’t think a custody suite is essential in any new police station. Classic political myopia🫣👇🏼

Mr Cowan’s position on this (devolved) matter has avoided the key issue re the inevitable reduced police availability if there’s no provision for a custody suite. To suggest the ‘crisis’ is based solely about a building is disingenuous at best.

Good support from Roads Policing officers. A trained eye (aka gut feeling!) led to an uninsured vehicle taken off the road. Uninsured drivers are an inconvenience to law abiding drivers. Glad this vehicle was seized 🙌🏼. Probably cheaper if they insured the car in the first place.

Officers from #RenInverRP spotted this vehicle in #Gourock . The driver seemed a bit panicky on seeing the marked #X5 - and checks revealed there was no policy of insurance in force. Vehicle Seized and driver issued with a #FPN . 6Points/£300 @CI_DebbieReilly #RabbitInTheHeadlights
