We invite you to join with us in remembering and celebrating the life of Mrs Sheenagh Cameron, our much loved and talented PSA by lighting a candle or pausing in your thoughts for a few moments today at 11am. Our lives have been enriched by her.
Tomorrow we say ‘Happy Retirement!’ to our Senior Office Angel, Mrs Sutherland! She’s going to have an amazing time with her new found freedom but we will miss her terribly. Thank you, Sandra for all you have done for our community. ❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️
We live in a very kind and thoughtful world. After requesting a knitted/crocheted rainbow, we received this from a mystery benefactor! Thank you so much, we love it!
Do we have any Lady Alice knitters or crochet queens who could make some of these gorgeous rainbows for our fences? This was spotted on the bridge over the dual carriageway at Inverkip.
Today we say goodbye and good luck to the world’s most amazing janitor. Mr Campbell has embodied everything you would ever need in his role and more. We wish him so much happiness in his retirement. ❤️👏🏻🥳🌟
Lady Alice, our community is on lockdown but our spirit is not. We are together.
Hold those you love dear to you in your arms if you can and in your heart if you cannot.
Shine a light for those who need our love and support today.
Remembering our beautiful Sheenagh and feeling thankful for all that she brought to our school community. Always spoken of and remembered with love and laughter. ♥️🙏🏻
Congratulations

We are officially open! Thank you to Councillor Natasha Murphy, Provost Martin Brennan and Rev. Fraser Donaldson for their kind words. Our choir and musicians performed beautifully!
Thank you to everyone in our school community, you worked together to make this week a big success. The staff have risen to the challenge of establishing our new normal with great support from our parents. As for the children... they’ve been outstanding! Well done! ⭐️❤️⭐️
It was fantastic to welcome our Primary One pupils to Lady Alice Primary today, tomorrow will be even better when we have our whole school community back together under one roof, in the heart of the community-exactly where we belong.❤️
Tomorrow we say goodbye to valued members of our community: our lovely P7 class, Mr Foley Miss Kitchen and Miss McCallion are all moving on to pastures new and Mrs Caldwell, Mrs Docherty and Marjie are all retiring! Tissues will be needed tomorrow; we will miss all of you!

We were very lucky to have a playground visit from Mr Morris today to help celebrate St Andrew’s Day. You can hear a lone singer in the background who couldn’t contain his excitement!
Look out for this if you are out walking this weekend

How do fire fighters move in their protective clothing? It's so heavy! P5/4 certainly challenged Mrs Connick to find out when they got the opportunity.
Life has certainly changed for all of us and we are missing our Lady Alice children enormously. Well done to everyone for working together and following the guidelines to keep us all safe.

We are a very lucky school and nursery class! Thanks to these two ladies and their charity group for making such a generous donation to us, we were so touched by their kindness.
Sending love to the

Today we celebrated our wider achievements at a special Star Assembly. Look how many families celebrated their children! It was great to ‘Reach for the Stars’ together. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wishing our Primary 7 leavers every success as they move on from their time with us. We have all been amazed by the achievements of this class in their Lady Alice journey. We look forward to hearing more positive and inspiring stories about each of you. ❤️
A HUGE SHOUT OUT to the amazing boys and girls
@LadyAlicePS
who have created and recorded the 12 Days of Foodbank with the items from our Christmas Hampers.
Has anyone seen Mr Coyle?
@MRC_LAPS
He was last sighted being pursued by P5/4 with a roll of parcel tape, they wanted to box him up so that he stays with Lady Alice. Good luck 🍀 Mr Coyle, you'll be missed.
Today is a good day for PC Kirsty .... happy faces all round with Lady Alice P1s and emotional for my P7 Whinhill legends and loving my new PC Kirsty mug. Looking forward to seeing all our Inverclyde youngsters in August. Take care n Stay safe x
For the first time in (what feels like) forever, we’ll all be back together under one roof today. Looking forward to seeing P4-7 back where they belong.
We were really proud of all of our runners who competed in today's cross country event at the Battery Park. We were especially proud to see the positive attitude shown by Christina who picked herself up after a fall and completed the race supported by her team mates.

Thank you to our staff team
@LadyAlicePS
@LadyNursery
for endeavouring to make this week a success. We’ve had positive feedback from many families & we’ve heard how challenging remote learning can be. Thanks to all at home who supported children with their learning this week.
The highlight of sharing our home learning packs was seeing our fab children and for some, meeting their brand new babies! All social distancing was observed although we definitely wanted a cuddle.
Happy Mother's Day to all of our LA Mama's. An extra special mention to Joan, our lovely cleaner who has gone above and beyond this last wee while to keep our school and nursery as clean as possible.
Wow, look at this morning’s sunrise! Definitely worth getting up for. See you soon

@LadyNursery
. Please cheer up the world and send us a photo of something beautiful you notice today.
Tomorrow (28th) we hold our Hallowe’en celebrations, feel free to dress up if you wish to.
On Friday (29th) we will be visited by the school photographer, please wear your smartest uniform and your brightest smile.
Try not to mix up outfits for the two dates. 🤣
Today was exciting! We said 'Hello' to a lot of our new Primary 1 children during their visits to Lady Alice Primary and we look forward to meeting more tomorrow. 😊
This lovely Lady Alice learner made all of the staff feel so special yesterday. She sent us a message telling us ‘Thank you’ for all that we do; this made us all glow with pride. We loved the tasty treats she sent too! 🍰🧁🥮
Today our P1 parents may be more apprehensive than their child as they give them a big hug then hand them over to us & leave without settling them into the classroom. Be brave, be strong & be confident that we will nurture them.
@AllisonBowie5
@MissMcShane_LA
Wishing you all a very happy Easter holiday, even if though it looks and feels quite different from how we imagined. Heartfelt thanks to every single member of our Lady Alice community, you are all
