@magi_jay Also the big thing that Republicans were opposed to re: Kavanaugh was a full investigation into the claims by the FBI and journalists, whereas Biden practically begged everyone to seriously look into the claims.

The thing is, we do the try and fail thing and you guys give it zero credit and pretend there was a double super secret way for it to pass. This includes voting rights, where Dems tried for months to get the filibuster overturned for it. You all act like it never happened.

The choices are not "endless war" or "the withdrawal exactly the way Biden did it." Biden could have ended the war AND put the necessary mechanisms into place to resettle and protect the Afghans who fought for human rights, democracy, women's rights, and the rights of minorities.

I think activists really underestimate the harm they do by coming off as assholes. If you want people to allow you to change the world, they have to trust you! "Let's give the reins of state power to gleeful sociopaths!" Is just not going to happen.

@ArmandDoma @TWLadyGrey No the Biden campaign is not unskewing polls. They have their own polling operations that have a lot more resources behind it than the public polls. Campaigns do not use data from public polling outfits at all.

Observation after running errands: About 95% of people wearing masks in stores, pretty much no one wearing them in outdoor settings. Makes me think the blue check obsession with this is just about trolling the libs for attention.
