It does not depend. She was born in Oakland. Her parents were not foreign diplomats. She is over 35 and has lived in the US for over 14 years. The constitutional question of whether the U.S. born child of foreigners is a citizen by birth was settled by the Supreme Court in 1898.

He's not been subpoenaed, so he can refuse to testify if he wants to. They should subpoena him, and quit with all these games. It's obvious at this point that nobody in the Trump administration will testify in a meaningful way without a subpoena.
I don't think opposition to Zionism is inherently anti-Semitic, but if your anti-Zionism is mostly focused on hating "Zionists", that is literally just anti-Semitism.
God, the defenses of college students who've only read Percy Jackson books really only make this all worse. You don't need an English degree to understand Jane Austen, you're just a philistine.
There is literally no way to meaningfully assign a percentage chance to the prospects of nuclear war and the fact that Silver somehow thinks this is a thing you can do is pretty much the problem with him.
Just a warning, "what are the chances of nuclear war?" (stemming from the Ukraine conflict) is a rabbit hole you may or may not want to go down, because it will probably occupy a lot of your brain space once you do.
@repkevinhern
So you gave up on your dream of being an astronaut because you were scared, and then developed a new, much less impressive, dream to own several McDonald's franchises, and your lesson from this is "never EVER give up"?
Cannot believe Vox's "senior foreign policy writer" still has this wildly bullshit tweet up a day later. The United States is not fighting a war in Austria, you clown.
@awprokop
By this standard it is literally impossible for anyone to know whether a document is classified or not, since a previous president may have declassified it without telling anyone. It's not just that it's stupid, it makes a mockery of the whole idea of a classification system.
It is insane to me that people are obsessing about Kyrsten Sinema theatrically voting against an utterly doomed message amendment rather than talking about Joe Manchin *shutting down the Senate for hours because he's being a stubborn asshole and maybe fucking up whole bill*
A thing I've seen a lot is that the SPD helped put Hitler in power because they supported Hindenburg in the 1932 presidential election, rather than, ludicrously, Ernst Thälmann, the Communist candidate.
This is just a ludicrous misunderstanding of the political situation.
@NILES100
I think Coach Taylor is a lifelong Republican, loved GW Bush, voted for McCain and Romney, and then just couldn't stomach Trump. He voted McMuffin or Johnson in 2016 and is reluctantly planning to quietly vote for Biden this year.

If your heating element is above your food in your stove or oven, seems like something has gone terribly wrong. Or do you only use the broiler?
@ToLey88
What's fun is the cultural differences being so great that even Blackthorne does not really understand how this is possible even as he's diong it.
I don't see how one can look at Mike "stop and frisk" Bloomberg in 2nd, with 22% among African-Americans and think that Buttigieg's struggles with African Americans have anything much to do with his racial record in South Bend.

@TheAVClub
It's just a fancy club for rich people. This is like saying [insert famous golfer here] has a racist past because he won the Masters.
@BFriedmanDC
He seems to be specifically advocating the murder of Strzok, Rosenstein, McCabe, Comey, Page, "the Democratic members of Congress," the Clintons, the Obamas, "the FBI", Brennan, Hayden, and Clapper.

The fact that out of the last four presidents, Donald Trump is the one he was deferential towards is basically all that needs to be said about him.

The idea that Cotton and Perdue aren't just blatantly obviously lying on Trump's behalf is ridiculous.
We should remember that they agree with Trump about these places being shitholes, even if they'd not use those words themselves.

As I understand it, Flake wasn't there, but said Durbin and a Republican senator told him about the incident immediately afterwards. Presumably he's like Scott - got it confirmed by Graham.

Top Gun: Maverick was a fine movie, but its politics were a bit iffy. wouldve been way better if at the end Maverick turned to the camera & said "i am communist now" & then specified hes the exact kind of communist i am

It also doesn't have to be annual. The Constitution says "He shall from time to time give to Congress information of the State of the Union and recommend to their Consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient."

Down on their luck dukes or whatever are great frontmen for scams because everyone assumes "this guy's a duke, obviously he wouldn't scam me," which seems to be roughly where Harry's at at this point.
