Everyone should watch this before they vote, also everyone should ponder which candidate seeks to divide and which seeks to unite.
@bondrene1
@TXAG
No, we don't. Sadly, the vast majority of Texans probably don't even know who he is, but a sizable number is happy that he has been impeached and will be tried by the Senate, hopefully they do their job with honor and integrity, things that him and many of his supporters lack.
@thefloridarose
@SenatorTimScott
Except that it was Trump's tax plan which made the cuts for the rich permanent but the ones for the middle class expired last year, funny how that works.
@JimGBoyle
@Texans4E
Question is should we stop indoctrinating our children and tell them lies every day when we recite the pledge because the line, "And justice for all," has never been true in American history, our justice system is pathetic!
@marklevinshow
"His mother was a social worker while his father worked as a state substance-abuse counselor." He's a person from humble roots, from people who had jobs that helped people, I understand that people like you don't appreciate those people, you admire those who abuse people instead.
@votetimscott
No, it really doesn't but you do you. I used to be a Republican but can't support your party any more as my eyes have been opened to the truth. All you guys ever do is complain but you never offer real solutions to real problems that real Americans face.
@CTWelch007
@Strandjunker
You are missing over a hundred years of discrimination post-slavery, it isn't like we made everything equal once slavery was over, study some actual history like lynchings, redlining, mass incarceration, discrimination in employment including the military and professional sports.
@GovAbbott
Yet you changed the law that benefited you, so no one else can be rewarded like you were. Also, what about 20 something's with ADHD who can't afford their medication and don't qualify for Medicaid because they don't have kids, and can't keep a job because they are un-medicated?
@Lawtalkingal333
@MartyTa94849826
Someone needs to file a lawsuit over this as the courts have to step in, if anything else it definitely violates Civil Rights act of 1964, Courts should have never relaxed oversight in the South.
@TexasTribune
Prayers for his family, but I found it odd that Republicans say he was supporting voter's rights, but seemed like he only wanted to support the rights of Republican voters. Also, interesting that he saw things but apparently didn't have evidence, so he grifted instead.
@rhonda_harbison
@GOPLeader
Would be working better if Texas didn't understaff its agencies on purpose, some things you don't find out about until you are poor and being poor in Texas is no picnic.
@GregAbbott_TX
So you are celebrating the Judicial branch interfering in the affairs of the Executive Branch, per the original law passed by congress the CDC of the current administration has the authority to invoke or revoke title 42, so this judge has said that the law does not matter.
@AdamPage85
Child abuse is a sin that has been ignored too long in churches, how many preachers preach on child abuse yearly, every other year, once a decade, or just never? Do you just assume that those in your pews know what it is and know that it is bad? Do you assume that no one in your-
@MrOxMix
@MilaLovesJoe
Did you ever study true history or just the lost cause BS? You are so full of it, I saw it in the 1970's and 1980's and while some of us may have gotten along, there were others who were calling people N lovers and talking about N town even up into the 80's, also Rodney KIng.
@GregAbbott_TX
So you have turned away people made in the image of God because they don't look like you and don't have millions of dollars to buy their citizenship, remember in the Bible where it says not to show partiality, I realize that you and yours ignore that part.
@GMRench
@BenjaminSWatson
@MattWalshBlog
Good outcome for descendants of slave trade, have you studied any American history between 1873 and 2020? Does Tulsa ring a bell, lynchings, Jim Crow, Redlining, White Flight, police brutality, etc, are those part of your good outcome?
@GregAbbott_TX
You are such a liar Greg, if you believed in Teachers and students then you would have worked on properly funding Texas schools instead of trying to get vouchers for the kids in all the private schools that you visited, when is the last time you actually visited a public school?
@Questioning1729
@RBReich
Are you ok with someone building a refinery or nuclear power plant in your neighborhood, near your kid's school, or next to your church? What about them building one using cheap parts or cheap labor?
@menchaca0809
@jarvisjohnsontx
You claim to be a veteran so should know better than this bs, the military provides a lot of training before they give you a loaded weapon and has lots of rules you must follow, also 17 year old's don't get deployed these days.
@GregAbbott_TX
I have a better idea, why don't we fully fund schools so we don't have classrooms of 20, 30, or 40 kids in them? How do you expect a teacher to address each child's needs when they have so many other kids in the room? Did Duncanville High turn you into an enemy of public Schools?
@ThomasSowell
It may be a shocker, but there are many poor and even some middle close folk who have never been on a plane, some due to fear and some just because they can't afford to take a vacation. I have been on many planes in my life but realize that there are many who have not.
@DerrickEvans_WV
You have J6 patriot in your bio which tells me that you are actually a traitor to your country, also where is your proof? I hope the governor and her lawyers serve you soon.
@gepehill1
The judge is being soft, the only message that 3 months sends is a slap on the wrist, judges give poor and minority defendants much longer sentences for lesser crimes all the time.
@gw2718
@MrNunesteach
On the other hand most of us were mediocre students but most of us don't have the self awareness to realize or admit this to ourselves much less to someone else, it is so much easier to blame schools and teachers than to accept the blame for our own mistakes.
@goolsbyjazz
@thepursuinglife
Many businesses that are posting help wanted signs are still being very choosy about who they hire, my 22 year old son with ADHD has not been able to get a job in several months and only survives because he lives with us.
@GregAbbott_TX
I don't think that Houston is impressed, so guessing that this is not the session where TEA is telling Houston residents that you are taking over their schools, your sorry self couldn't be bothered to go to that meeting, a self serving coward is what you are.
@DLPodcaster
@doglegjack
I'm a former Republican and haven't had any of the issues you have mentioned, but then again I don't make a habit of telling people to F off after reasonable comments, I think it is your attitude dude, It's you, not them.
@SpeakerMcCarthy
Actually providing more drug abuse treatment, better access to mental counseling, reduced or no cost dental care, and health insurance for all would save even more lives.
@jasminekane23
@AP
Then don't but why do you support a state telling others that they can't if they choose to? Do you not believe in freedom or are you just another fascist?
@MaryCar81547475
@GregAbbott_TX
The thought of your ignorance sickens me, as Einstein said doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity or are you ok with how our state leaves so many behind because they don't look like you or have your money?
@rebelEducator
I don't know where you are getting your numbers, but most states don't spend 17,800 per student in public schools, it's not even close. Also, private schools are able to select their students and their students are on average wealthier than public school students.
@AdamPage85
church would ever abuse their children physically, sexually, mentally, or emotionally? Are you afraid that your children may accuse you if you preach on it? How many churches have their church volunteers or paid staff take any type of child abuse training? Do we just assume that-
@NateSchatzline
@tasbnews
Interesting that this new organization doesn't say who is in charge or who is paying the bills? Why should anyone trust this organization to be able to deliver on anything, guess people are just supposed to take your word for it?
@Markbhere2
@Jubilee4Jesus
So let's wait for Jesus to come back to pursue racial and economic justice but the gays and abortions need to be stopped by government now because the government is supposed to represent our religious beliefs on those issues? Is that the American Christian version of justice?
@bondrene1
@TXAG
A majority of ignorant Texans that voted did vote for him, but a majority of eligible voters did not even vote, so no we as in most Texans or even a majority of eligible voters don't know who he is and if you still like him knowing that he is corrupt then you are sick.
@GovAbbott
Why not a tax rebate governor, you overtaxed us in the first place and now you are just trying to promise that you will steal less from us next time?
@krislytle
Also, the 8K is more than the 6.1k that the state allows school districts to spend on most students before additional money depending on student characteristics for the kids the private schools won't take.
@SenatorTimScott
Another day and another lying tweet by Tim Scott, sorry but if you can't tell the truth why should anyone trust you to be president? Also, he has tried to do some things to help real Americans, but you and your buddies have blocked him from doing so.
@jmicsmith
@ToolGal462
@ThomasSowell
True, you have to know how to use Google, sometimes you have to look deeper, sometimes you have to refine your terms, but I guess that takes more work than many are willing to do for important things like the truth.
@CollinGOP
That would be great, we have been solid red for far too long and the extremes of the Republican party have taken things too far, a few blue years could restore the state to a good balance.
@ResistItAllTX
@HawleyMO
This is not true, they gave them 235 million in humanitarian aid in 2021, also wishing someone to rot in hell is pretty much the worst thing you can do short of physically harming them. Be careful as you may end up being the one rotting, since you lack love for others.
@SenatorTimScott
You just don't want your rich buddies to have to pay taxes on their ill gotten gains, also it is 87000 employees, as not all of them will be agents, and it is over a 10 year period to replace Boomers that are retiring, but I know you don't care about the truth.
@TexConserv23
@Lissie70
@GregAbbott_TX
A historian who is ignorant of history, nice, let me guess you work for Hillsdale College or is that where you got your fake degree?
@RepStickland
@RogersForTexas
Not really a big deal if you consider that Parker County still defends a Confederate statue in Weatherford, but I guess you are ok with people who support racists and their loser trophies.
@BillCallahan92
@trillaryclintn_
@ImBillRay
Duke didn't admit any black students until 1961, so racism was part of their culture prior to that time, but one would hope that things have improved since then.
@TimothyOHare
Spare me any concern you have for the rule of law when the corrupt attorney general of Texas continues in office when he should be behind bars.
@matt_fuller
@SMagoo1988
@TomBuck
@pastordmack
@WinsomeSears
@VP
So you don't know what it is, by the way both Lindsay and Baucham are wrong about CRT, CRT is a legal theory that is an elective course taught only in law school, it is not a worldview or a religion, it is just a way of looking at how our legal system affects different people.
@GinaForAustin
@HoustonISD
Well, the Republican trolls are out in force today, funny how so many of claim to know so much, but they don't, sick of people just being haters.
@GovAbbott
@TPPF
You want school choice, here is what you would have to do, either eliminate the STAAR test or let the test follow the student and the money, in other words hold all schools to the same basic requirements whether they are public, charter, or private.
@lighttrigger6
@GregAbbott_TX
You might, but we don't, because I can't stand him and will be glad when he is gone. You don't speak for me, so please take a seat.
@TerryCornelius7
@MZHemingway
Sure, because dictatorships have painstaking legal processes, dictatorships would have jailed him the day after or taken him out. Dictatorships don't have bail or right to counsel, so comparing our legal process to a dictatorship is pure insanity and BS on your part.
@William_E_Wolfe
Most people on the left do not believe this and one person doesn't speak for a whole group. Also, there are some families with moms and dads that are dangerous places for kids, no family is perfect, nuclear or otherwise, so her blanket statement is invalid and so is yours.
@KeepingSunny
@TexasTribune
Previous CEO was paid 426,000 in total compensation, this one is probably being paid more, a month on the job and she is already shaking things up, I bet that her salary could easily pay the salaries of at least a few that she fired, also she has 0 experience as a journalist.
@SenatorTimScott
Again, you are identifying a problem, but you aren't proposing anything to fix it just like pretty much every Republican these days, what is your solution? Also, do you understand that NYC is much more expensive to live in than anywhere in SC?
@SenatorTimScott
Senator, working Americans are the ones with student loan debt, some have been trying to pay off their student loans for decades but life has gotten in the way, but I guess you don't know any of those folks.
@RluctntDanceMom
@0liviajulianna
But you wouldn't hire someone with a GED to be a teacher, so why would someone with a GED be a member of congress, seems like the bar should be a little higher for a national elected office than it is for a school teacher, I mean can't we find any teachers to serve instead?
@DrFrankTurek
Frank, this post hurts your witness as it is a bald-faced lie, Trump is guilty of most of the counts and there is no Democrat in history who has done close to what he has done, the only two sets of laws in America are the laws applied to poor vs rich or white vs everyone else.
@Jeff__Ostler
How do you explain American History without discussing Patriarchy, I mean women couldn't vote from 1776 until 1919 and women couldn't get a credit card in their own name until 1974?
@ChrisCrbn
@BasedMikeLee
This bill has literally nothing to do with the suffering of every day Americans, but if it was meant to help them then Republicans would vote against it.
@Taijifajin
@WalshFreedom
@brianklaas
I think you can make a case for neoliberalism being part of the puzzle, but you can't ignore tax policy, government incentives for big business, privatizing of public functions, weakening of labor unions, and Wall Street hyper-focus on quarterly profits as well.
@votetimscott
You and the privileged class live in a different world than most of us, have things gotten better? Depends on where you are, who you are, and what you do for a living, obviously serving white rich folks can be profitable as long as you will lie for them.
@poetrypainter
@politicalblond
@itsJeffTiedrich
@NikkiHaley
Did your forget about Ollie North, who went behind congress's back when he sold Iran weapons that they likely used against our allies and diverted some of the money to a rebel group in Nicaragua? Also remember that Edwin Meese, the attorney general tried to cover it up.
@DanPatrick
@SenBryanHughes
What public money has been used, do you have receipts? Is the library not open, are these not volunteer readers doing this during library hours? How can you make the statement that public money is being used for this when that is a total lie?
