I was proud to vote SB 28 out of committee yesterday. It's important that we take this opportunity to address our infrastructure and set up our future water supply for years to come. This bill will create new investment opportunities to be dispersed by the Texas Water Fund.

Today, I attended the 61st annual meeting of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association at the Petroleum Club of Midland. I, along with Rep. Craddick, @BrooksLandgraf , and @DrewDarbyTX , discussed energy related legislation as well as the importance of petroleum to our Texas economy.
