@TheMonkeyJungle
I did this exact thing once… for a 7am shift.
Manager bought me breakfast and asked: “is everything was okay?”. Sent home with pay… highly recommend this method.
@fleurmeston
Well done for speaking up! We need more of that. Be carful though.
I had to do this in a bar yesterday- to someone I knew on another table. Was awkward as hell. We can’t let the societal standard to slip.

I think that may be quite unique/ a strong aspect of American Protestantism?
I grew up in a catholic household and it was much less literal. Although to be fair is was almost exclusively teachings from the New Testament.
@kimberleydaph
People meeting at school/ university is still pretty common is seems- although marriage has fallen out of fashion, which would skew the data.
Within the year helps with conversations as you both know all the references. But women are generally more mature than men of the same

Will need to read this properly before I reply meaningfully.
From a first read you make a lot of good point. Thanks for the effort.
@123LUAN1111
Come on now… you knew exactly what you were doing. You posted bait and are now acting sanctimonious. “Way too serious”, after posting about religion?
Will await your post about Mohamed.
@celestialbe1ng
Only way I know is asking a doctor freind. You can also make your rat some at home, but it takes at least a couple weeks and sounds like squeak is in a rush…

@123LUAN1111
The antithesis of literal is not fantastical, it’s symbolic. Understanding the symbolism is not something that can be imparted in a tweet. People spend their whole lives trying to decode these texts and perhaps there is no one correct answer.
I am presuming your reductive tone
@kimberleydaph
Been a few times. Your experience will depend on where you go- obviously I guess. Dubrovnik Is pretty sweet. Didn’t like split as much, but maybe I was with the wrong crowd.

Very drunk guy (pretty rough) just came up to me, agitated : “he’s wearing a cross, he is alright. God is everywhere.”
Then his girlfriend apologised and they walked off.
Something there maybe.
@providenceluvr
Haha, very much relate.
Hyper-sexualisation seems a common theme in the end times of empires. Hopefully we can build something better from the rubble.
@rachelmillman
The post is shallow and reprehensible, but is calling them a bad person likely to provoke the ideal change? I like the second sentence and agree with your overall sentiment.
Ever notice how 5’7 men exude PEAK masculine charisma?
They just have a gusto to them that sweeps up any room they enter
Guys like Robin Williams
Tom Cruise
Pitbull
James Dean
Psy op of modern times is that height matters for dating
Nope
All about ur gusto bro

Okay, your point went over my head I have to say… interesting interpretation. I’m not sure it’s the most compelling I have heard, but it’s creative and cleaver- so much respect. 🫡
@fleurmeston
Haha, that’s admirable. I used to do the same, but it’s so prevalent on my lines now that I just try to move away.
But if not us, who. Maybe you have inspired me to go back to my old ways…
@AMAZlNGNATURE
I learned that when one is climbing a tree with one’s mantis friends it’s impolite to stick one’s tongue out- mantis etiquette is surprisingly advanced. If violating mantis code of conduct (MCC) one should expect a physical altercation- which sometimes results in missing face
@kimberleydaph
Christmas isn’t great for a lot of people. I’m not a big fan but the lights are nice.
“When you are going through hell, just keep going”. The days will get longer again.
@cgkedu
It was banned, but nothing to do with children going orange as far as I know. From memory it found they were using tap water mixed with concentrate which was/ is an offence.
@xintanifae
Very good analysis, if not slightly depressing. The loneliness epidemic is going to keep getting worse it seems. Congrats, you got nice smarts. 😂
@b_mmcbride
I love bells too, other than when I’m hung over in Venice on a Sunday morning… they like to take it in turns, which is lovely to be fair.
Will have a look. Travelling to bell towers sounds like a hell of a gig.
@b_mmcbride
Ah, that’s your doctorate… very cool!
No idea, was hoping you had the answer. Venice, Bologna, Florence, Pisa are all very loud. Didn’t hear anything in Rome. Maybe just the district- I was beside the Pantheon.
@kimberleydaph
I think one of the main issues is the compatibly of ideas. Some cultures have vastly different behavioural standards to ours. Fine, perhaps, but not something that should be imported without thought.
Tolerance is/ should be a two way street. Many do understand this. Sadly many
@kimberleydaph
Centre point does some good work. They used to have a big lull in volunteers after Christmas. Jan-Mar in particular.
Heard mixed things about crisis, but have no direct experience.
@kimberleydaph
I think many people have been tricked into thinking that dating can be made more efficient without making it less romantic. I don’t think matters of the heart work that way. Love and lust so often confused.
