🇬🇧 Scott Mills on #Eurovision 2024: • No heritage acts • No novelty acts • Someone new or new-ish Defintely agree with no heritage acts; as Scott points out, this is a modern ESC. Novelty acts I'd be very wary of but not totally dismiss them. Done right, they can succeed.

@TheBalkanGuy To be fair to them, a lot of artists will be under very strict contracts about what they can/can't say. Especially Olly as BBC takes impartiality very seriously. This would've have gone through some very tough checks and re-drafts to get broadcasters to give it the OK.
