I've always been cautious to producer led running orders because, when you place a country in a running order position, that can symbolise what you think about that country/delegation/broadcaster etc, as much as the song/artist. You wanted more power Björkman, well here you are.

In 2016 two weeks before #eurovision I was offered 500 free tickets for my school to attend the Semi Final One family show in Globen. The arena was I'd say 1/4 full. That equivalent show has now sold out, unless you buy £210 hospitality tickets. Different world today....

Sara Siipola, Paskana Beautiful. Dancers on stage in black but never seen, they only help to move the sole light source around Sara. More light comes through the crescendo and there should be a Marcel Bezençon for staging at #eurovision , possibly the best I've ever seen #umk2024

Re: Reform of jury/televote situation, I think most reactions are, well, reactionary. As a general rule jury votes are worth less than 50% as they tend to have more variance than televoting, the Loreen landslide we saw is something mathematically quite rare.

Eric Saade: Way dirtier production than his other stuff. The chorus 'oh na na' has a vocoder and there's a very middle Eastern effect in the post chorus. As a song alone I can't see this coming close to the winning it all, but Eric has staging and charisma to add in too #melfest

I was at #UMK 2017. I thought the format was dead. They tried internal artist selections but they didn't push careers further Look at it now. Regardless of results at #Eurovision these 7 songs are prime examples of their genres. Standing ovation from me.

Israel's participation was wrong, at least with this song this year. As soon as you disqualify 'October Rain' any rewrite of that song will stink of that and still be so political that it will rile up a farcical 300+ point televote. Any new song should have started from scratch.

Should reveal there was an ulterior motive to this poll. I shocked the #melfest team when I informed them I would like someone else to take my spot in the press room. Why? Because I’ll be travelling to Turku this weekend for #UMK instead! And I agree, the best NF of the year
