@advany With higher pricing too you're signaling to bigger companies that your product is for them and naturally smaller brands will stay away. I've seen brands try to cover a wide spectrum of customer size and it just leads to the problems you're describing.

@helloitsolly Sorry but this has to be an engagement bait post. Unless you're spending a ton on customer acquisition, you should be operating at least at 70% margin. With $30k mrr that's a very nice salary for a 2-man business. Plus, it's more scalable than a "productized service" business

I can never get over clients asking for deep discounts on our software just like that. Next time it happens I'm going to go on their site and ask them for 60% off their products. People just think SaaS has no direct costs and it can be discounted to any arbitrary price.
