No more tracker watching for #Iditarod52 . Jeff Reid came into the finish as the red lantern early this morning. Extinguishing the Widow's Lamp signifying all teams are safely off the trail. 38 teams began the journey, 29 completed the full 975 miles.

I think @QuinceMountain was enjoying high fiving as many people as possible. I didn't have a better vantage point bc this was right after my interview with Jeff Schultz and team. But I kinda like the crowd as a natural frame for the shot.

Paige Drobny is on Insider giving an interview, told a story about traveling with rookie Hanna Lyrek over the sea ice bc Hanna was nervous about falling into the ocean, so Paige told her they'd travel together. I freaking love this race. #Iditarod50

Terrible news, no way to say it, & I’m sorry I haven’t known how to tell you. I thought we’d have great news ❤️Helli having puppies. Vet found anomaly—pups wouldn’t be viable—healthy Helli became only focus. We/vet did all possible & in shock when H went to sleep & never woke up

I heard Disney Movie Star Hugo passed away today. Hugo was a coworker of mine at Wildride. A pain in the butt with his diva like attitude (those Hollywood types always are) but he was one of my favorites. He lived to be 13, so I'd say he had a full life.

Ryan Redington was carrying ashes of Howard Farley a Nome resident who helped Iditarod from the very beginning. Aaron Burmeister was originally tasked with bringing him home, but when he scratched in UNK he passed them off to Ryan who got the job done. #Iditarod52
