@notoriousBIGDP I say "thank you" to doormen. They keep venues very much nicer for us customers. I say "thank you" to cleaners, they keep places nicer for us all. I say thank you to waiters, bar staff, shop staff etc. I'm not special, just appreciative. Rude people don't deserve respect.

Bloody daft bird flew into the patio door. I think it's just stunned. I have held birds like this for about ten minutes after getting them safe from the cat. I'm optimistic that this one will fly away okay in a while.

Flick has just passed peacefully. She was the most loving cat I have ever known. Her breathing grew shallower and shallower and then she left us. We are bereft.

Oh today's pole dancing class was brilliant! I have tried this position so many times but just slid down the pole. Today I nailed it. I hadn't expected to. My pole buddies weren't watching until I screamed out " someone get a photo quick". I am still buzzing. 😁😁😁😁

@buntyhoven What gets me is if I take stuff out with me it's usually lighter when I leave there. Bottles, cans, containers of every kind have less in them hence easier to take away than bring. I can't comprehend the levels of laziness. And I am a lazy fucker TBH.

Broken leg update. Great! Operation smooth AF, anaesthetic spot on, nerve blocks work! Standard of care exceptional. Cocodamol prescribed . Boot very comfortable, lighter, I feel freer, more mobile. Downside? I just wish the air pump worked as a squeaky toy.

Time for a rant. Wear a mask FFS. Just been to the shops. Very few people wearing masks. I see tweets giving reasons not to wear masks. All tripe and pseudo science. A few questions to ponder. Why do Surgeons wear masks? ( They've been doing this for over a hundred years).1

Do you ever have one of those days when you just feel fantastic? Well that's me today. Two sessions of Pilates followed by my pole dancing class has left me absolutely buzzing. Everything I tried today I either succeeded or improved on. This pose is Jasmine. Next week higher up.

I'm so proud of myself, I am more mature, sensible than I thought. My daughter has just come back from the polling station and cruella braverman is there. I was close to jumping straight into the car and driving there to abuse her and her hangers on. I made a cuppa instead. 😊😊

I drove my car this afternoon. Boring huh? Not for me it wasn't! It's the first time since I broke my leg. It was a taste of sweet independent freedom. My OH has been brilliant at ferrying me around for the last few weeks. Tomorrow back to pilates and the swimming pool. 😁😁😁😁
