How is that restorative Justice program working? And this article says it all…even with more pay teachers would be leaving. It isn’t pay, it’s student discipline which is crushing both teacher retention and achievement for the students who want to learn.

The Mayors proposed budget projects an over $70M dollar deficit the year after he leaves office and an over $100M deficit the year after that. This is in the midst of record revenue and record federal dollars coming in. I will be working to stop that insanity.

This graphic speaks for itself. Keep in mind that in Jefferson County, between 20-30,000 kids have the option to go to school through Catholic or private schools. We need to open the schools. Even the Biden Administration CDC says it should be done even without the vaccine.

Just finished my questions of the Chief. He admitted that Mayor Fischer accused the Chief and LMPD of doctoring video which was not true. The Chief also clearly said the Mayor micro-managed the police in the early days.
