@bethanyshondark I didn't homeschool my kids but put them through public school. Even so, I have known many homeschooled kids in church and the community. They are typically incredibly capable socializers as teens. That argument against homeschooling just doesn't hold up in real life.

Read closer. I'm not wishing to defend Williams but this is misrepresentation. In the first, he speaks of (what he sees) as the core tenets of Critical Race Theory. In the second, he says he believes the opposite. Misrepresenting views is a big factor in mistrust of the media.

@redsteeze Pine, Gadot, Wiig weren't bad in WW1984, imo, considering the script and the film editing decisions. Acting in the movie wasn't the problem as much as the implausible plot twists, impossible physics, and ridiculously shallow portrayals. Actors got no help.

@thescottbarber It's a weird blindspot Christians get sometimes when we get political. We tout Old Testament Law but not the social justice laws. We tout the Prophets but forget they condemned nations over mistreating the poor. We tout the New Testament but forget Matthew 25, Gal 2:10, etc. etc.

@KSPrior I have often thought about the fact we have this confidence in the truth of Christ's resurrection in part because of the terrible experiences the apostles suffered. No one would die for a lie as they say. I thank God for your witness, and others, through trying times.
