John Wycliffe died a martyr's death to bring us the English Bible, so this woman could kick it at a man during a church worship service.

Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. —Romans 1:22–23
@servetus
You're using words that sound Christian, but that's not biblical Christianity.
Protestant Liberalism is a different religion. It defines love completely differently than the Bible. And since "God is love" (1 John 4:8) that has ramifications for all of theology.
Atheists may say “You’re only a Christian because your parents were.
Listen, if your parents taught you the faith, that doesn’t mean Christianity is false. That just means you had good parents.
@douglaswils
This is a commentary on how, under our current godless regime, Jewish people are being banned from universities. He’s saying, however bad you think CN will make things, you probably don’t realize how bad it is right now. The thing you fear is already happening, now.
@mikeCAburritos
@servetus
That's exactly right.
Unnatural, inhuman and inhumane ideologies that seek to attach themselves to our children's backs must be dealt with by godly fathers and mothers.
This is good parenting, not bullying.
@Key3Skeleton
Within the Christian worldview, it's true that God is the Creator. Yet within that same worldview, God is not culpable for man's sinful actions or inclinations.
There's no contradiction here, when you deal with Christianity on its own terms.
Has anyone ever explained this to
I’m going to start muting and blocking more atheists.
I’m talking only about the rude, recalcitrantly ignorant kind.
If you’re here for good-faith conversation, you have my respect.
But if you’re just looking for a proxy battle with the God you hate, I have no time for you.
@nakedpastor
Without the verses, love is arbitrary and may be defined subjectively.
Why do false teachers always seek to diminish the sufficiency of God's word?
@BilltheCatGuy1
@GigaBasedDad
None of that was Constantine's doing. The church grew soft, sullied and apostate over the next few hundred years. Similar to what we are seeing today in the West.
@TheDeenShow
When Jesus fasted for 40 days, it was when the Holy Spirit drove Him into the wilderness, immediately after the Father announced, "You are my beloved Son; with you I am well-pleased."
You believe Jesus fasted. Do you also believe He is the Son of God?
@melindagates
Will you be promoting the rights of the little unborn women in their mothers' wombs, or will you be funding an increase in their premature destruction?
@CatholicSat
And every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

Horus was the child of Isis and Osiris (not a virgin) after Isis pieced Osiris back together.
Horus had no virgin birth, never died, was never buried, and never resurrected.
He didn't have 12 disciples.
He has a bird head, not a lamb.
Crucifixion wasn't a thing in 2,200 B.C.
@servetus
Again, Mr. Welch, this is not Christianity. This is not what the Bible teaches, and it is not what Christians believe.
The sexual binary is taught and affirmed throughout the Christian holy book, the Bible. The divine author of the Bible is God. If you deny the Bible's
@geostylegeo
There is more and better evidence that Jesus lived, died for our sins, was buried, and was raised to life on the third day than that you exist, Sir.
@Graham4GA
Do you believe Nazism likewise "has some good?" Nazism's head was Hitler, and Hitler, while evil, did not accomplish anywhere near the amount of evil as Satan.
If you hate Nazism, you must hate Satanism much, much more.

"God does not intervene."
• God promises to fight for Israel in Ex 14:14.
• David says God mounted a cherub to rescue him in Ps 18 (cf. 2 Sa 22).
• God preserved 3 men in the furnace in Da 3:25.
• David asks God to "take hold of shield and buckler" and help him in Ps 35.
@paulogia0
First, state what your absolute, objective standard of morality is, and justify why you hold to that standard, using only terms that are consistent with your own godless worldview.
Until you do that, we all can and will disregard your opining as mere spleen-venting.
@lutherananswers
Haha, this is gold.
Some atheists reason at such a tragically shallow level that they can't imagine Christians (whom they deem as intellectually inferior to themselves) have already anticipated their arguments and rejected them for good reasons.
@servetus
@mikeCAburritos
It sounds like you've been hurt by loved ones, and based on a combination of that experience and your desire to remain in unrepentant sin, you are seeking to redefine Christianity.
It would be better to admit that you have yet to join Christianity and are in another religion.
@djos24
"Replacement" should be fulfillment. The line should lead to Christ and continue as the church. To the left of Christ it should read, "Israel = unbelieving type + faithful remnant," and to the right of Christ it should read "Church"
When the kids and wife are asleep, that’s my chance to sneak out and do deadlifts. Final set: 5x230lbs. I have no idea if that’s good or not, but it’s the most I’ve done since I got back into lifting.

@Key3Skeleton
This is a good question, and God answers it in the Bible.
"The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble" (Proverbs 16:4).
God also raised up Pharaoh, the oppressor of His people, saying, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that

If the Bible doesn't teach your doctrine, that is in fact a "gotcha," and if you fail to recognize it as such, then that reveals something significant about you, but what it does not reveal is that it was not a "gotcha."
@Breaking911
What a terrifying thing. May the Lord have mercy on these students and their families.
"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

Ask her if she believes that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Second Person of the Trinity, who died for our sins and rose from the dead, and who is the only way to the Father. Then we'll find out if it's the same God.
Is Right Wing Watch secretly a Christian organization, whose mission is to rAgE POsT ideas they secretly agree with to the Democrats who follow them?
This is a serious question.
What happens when you elect a Christian nationalist pastor like Dusty Deevers to a seat in the Oklahoma state Senate? You get lectured about how pornography is a tool of Satan and must therefore be outlawed so that people "can be set free" and give their lives to Jesus.
@Eric_Conn
Youth group can serve a good purpose, especially for homeschooled kids, providing friends, relevant answers to big questions, a Christ-centered cultural Overton Window, and robust theological and discipleship training. Yes it is often done wrongly, but it doesn't have to be.
@servetus
Your position here is not representative of biblical Christianity. Psalm 2, Matthew 28:18–20, and the entire book of Revelation are on Sproul's side.
I urge you to repent and trust in the Biblical Jesus.
The existence of God is obvious.
Atheists assert that God is not obvious, so they bear the burden of proof.
They’re making a claim. They need to back it up.
It’s up to the atheist to prove that God is not there.

Perhaps the greatest proof that the Bible is true is the vehemence with which those who hate God deny it.
The only explanation for such obtuseness is sinful suppression of the truth—which is exactly what the Bible says would happen.
