This pattern of preventing use until the community complains needs to stop. The Stanley Park water park, logs on beaches, MacLean Park water park, etc.The @CityofVancouver must make our parks safe and accessible for all. This should have been done in the winter. #lackofleadership

West End residents begging the city and (surprise!) the Park Board to turn on the fountains at Bute and Haro. City says they need to be retrofitted first. Makes no sense why this work couldn’t have been done over the winter months, but par for the course in Vancouver these days.
