Great Grey Shrike at Garmondsway near Trimdon today was quite mobile, but kept returning to same place, a local said it has been around for 2 weeks.

Snowgoose a little away from usual field today... with golden plovers starting to show black underbelly. 3 x whitefronts still at Penny Pot Lane along with a single pink foot.
After arriving at South Gare in heavy rain and glimpsing the brown booby through the murk on a buoy and watching it fly off, we had a coffee, the weather cleared and we watched it on pilot pier where the local lads had said it would return to and where it still was when we left.
No sign of Hawfinch at Harewood or Fountains Abbey this afternoon, but the female Smew is still at Ripon City Wetlands, along with pair of Goosander & several Goldeneye
