Looks like there was a MASSIVE data breach at Stanford Stanford has not confirmed that it was affected. But if that's the case, everything from SSNs to medical information might've been compromised for Stanford students, professors, staff, and even prospective students

this is noteworthy for a few reasons. google has been a close supporter of AFOG for years (as they say in their letter), providing intellectual and material resources. AFOG's partnership elevated my perception of google's commitment to credible, transparent, critical scholarship.

I just heard that hedge fund Bridgewater shortened their summer internship from 10 weeks to 2 weeks, made it mainly an educational experience, and is still paying interns over $30,000. Culture might eat strategy for breakfast, but recruiting pipelines eat culture for dessert.
