Quick port of kz_natureblock to get a feel for the cs2 movement mechanics, kept failing on scrollwheel timings so I ended up mostly using spacebar, feels very similar to csgo otherwise 👍
We fixed CS2 movements. No more gliding feeling. Gain precious time on your counter-strafes and dominate your opponents. Now available on our Huntsman V3 Pro line !
The panorama video background is hogging the CPU during games, even if you have good FPS you should still use this fix to get faster and more consistent frame times
For people who've had massive FPS issues since the operation:
Go to Steam Folder>Steamapps>common>Counter Strike Global offensive>csgo>Panorama
Rename the folder called "videos" to "videos1"
Have -novid in CS launch options
Should fix the drops, increased my FPS with ~100
CS2 runs on a 64-tick rate
Unless we get access to the subtick tech, all measures of time and distance will be at half the precision we had in csgo (128-tick)
when jumping straight (blue) you need to jump 13 units further than if you jump diagonally (red)
the geometry is the same but the rotation makes the corners of the player collision box reach further

just uploaded a map and instantly got 100+ downvotes with only 32 unique views
Every single map she has released has had 100 downvotes added onto them
This is going to make it nearly impossible for anyone's map to be found
The penetration bug on Ancient is caused by bullets not being able to exit through nodraw 🟨
By making the rest of the wooden faces into displacements you can remove the nodraw and fix the issue

Please get rid of the imaginary "in-between" floors, when your z position is an average of the surrounding geometry, so your height is always on an actual surface in the world
ok so it's not a slope we're stepping on but the unholy union between an imaginary ball and the real bounding box
there is a lot to dislike about this but a big issue is that you can no longer predict how high you will jump based on what you are seeing
all these frags are sub-frame at 60fps which makes the hit confirmed delay less than 16ms
is this on a valve server? because I have mad delay in premier compared to this

when benchmarking I had a ~20% decrease in overall frames on the latest version, I think it's a visibility issue where larger areas of the map are being drawn than before ✌️

I had scenarios in csgo where you got a penalty for each X shots you missed. One of the penalties were that the scenario reset. I'd remake it in CS2 but there are no scripts.
comparing against trucklovers two other aces from a month ago we can observe a 4x longer delay than in the faceit clip

Probably not until scripting is back at least, I have no idea how you could find out what place everyone is in at all times but you could 100% have it displayed at the end with scripting

Players shouldn't have to take in consideration the distance they are from the edge and if it's considered a step which then means they're in-between etc.. they already have a lot to think about in the game, no needs for more inconveniences.

I was holding both jump and duck with autobunnyhop on so it could just be that my collider was smol while everything else looked like I was standing.
It could definitely be a feature though, it's only obvious like this when you are going way faster than normal.

it'll be interesting to see if they'll be able to tune their classification model to avoid false positives, though
the spinbot heuristic had plenty of false bans and they never got that working properly afaik
There's a "metamod VScript unlocker" for CS2 that allows some actors to inject code into their servers, changing a boolean flag in order to enable the VScript API.
This API was explicitly disabled by the devs at the start of the limited test, strongly indicating that they don't
