No joke, these signs are actually required! One was placed in a very high visibility area in my city and I asked about why it was there. Gotta let taxpayers know who the 'gift' is from I guess. Ridiculous.
Trump (who lost re-election by 4.5%) now has feuds with the folllowing Republican Governors:
Reynolds- won re-election by 19.5% (Trump won IA by 8%)
DeSantis- won re-election by 19.4% (Trump won FL by 3.5%)
Kemp- won re-election by 7.5% (Trump lost GA)

WI joins the Senate fray. Hovde is going to take the fight to Baldwin in a way she’s never had to deal with in her looooong lifetime politician career.
@GoHawks_1
Yeah? That was dumb too. I don’t like individual politicians putting the name on things taxpayers are paying for. I’ll be sure to call him out if he does it.
@YouTubeTV
FSN-WI was the selling point to YouTubeTV for me. If you don't get this figured out I'll be headed elsewhere.
This, combined with blackouts is getting ridiculous

NEW: The Evers administration announces it’s using remaining federal pandemic money to fund five proposed building projects rejected by the GOP-controlled Legislature.
They include:
-Milwaukee soccer stadium
-Bronzeville center for the arts
-Janesville ice arena
A candidate that’s endorsed by Trump can and has won.
A candidate that makes Trump their identity loses nearly every time.
Be your own person. Have your own ideas. There’s a huge difference between the two.
Tammy Baldwin was not the author, co-author, or offered any amendments to the bill (S.3021 - America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018) she's taking credit for in her first ad. Off to a good start.

BREAKING: North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper says he will let the budget – which includes UNIVERSAL SCHOOL CHOICE – become law.
NC will now fund students, not systems.
NC is now the 10th state to pass universal school choice.
It's the 1st to do so without a GOP trifecta.
There is a chasm in the depth of answers and knowledge of the law between
@JusticeDanKelly
and his opponent. He's better prepared and poised too. One looks like a Supreme Court Justice and the other is just rolling out paper thin Dem talking points.
Its clear that
#schoolchoice
is popular everywhere. Empowering families and expanding choice allows each and every student to succeed. Keep your foot on the gas

I’m a free speech absolutist.
BUT watching universities condone the crap that’s going on all the while knowing full well they’d be expelling students en masse with no due process if this was directed towards any other group is sickening.
Here’s what bugs me - the idea that income taxes will cover things. Well does that mean we are done trying to flatten or zero out the income tax? Because otherwise this deal falls apart.
Highlights of Brewers funding bill:
-27 year lease, keeps team in Milwaukee until 2050
- The state’s contribution will be covered by income taxes collected from the Brewers and visiting teams
-$100M from Brewers, $200M Milwaukee County/City

I’m not Catholic. I went to public schools. But if you don’t think that school choice is allowing parents to do what’s best for their kids I don’t know what to even say anymore.
Ad from Heartland Signal says GOP U.S. Senate candidate Eric Hovde claims he "understands the tragedy of children being trafficked through Central America because he owns three homes there."
Its high time people start caring about the judges and DA's in their communities. The laws we need (and plenty we don't) are already on the books. It takes people willing to enforce them.
For anyone curious, the judge who sentenced a guy who had an automatic firearm on school property and subsequently fled from police to PROBATION (w/ 90 days work release) was Tony Evers appointee Kori Ashley. I guess Fox 6 decided not to name the judge?
Three Wisconsin Democrats - Reps Madison, Clancy and Myers (all from Milwaukee) - couldn't bring themselves to vote for the overwhelmingly bipartisan resolution condemning Hamas and instead chose to sit it out.
BREAKING: Kentucky House District 66 Republican Primary
T.J. Roberts: 74.2%

C. Ed Massey was supported by the teachers union and opposed school choice.
T.J. Roberts is an unapologetic advocate for education freedom.
Oh, and they're not joking around either. The bill also creates a brand new police force at DOR to enforce these new laws against Wisconsinites. They gave them "all necessary police powers" statewide. What could possibly go wrong?
From the bill:
Rashan Gary is a monster. J Alexander is a pro bowler. Quay Walker is a tackling machine. The defense is loaded with top draft picks. Common denominator? They have a DC Joe Barry that had STUNK at every place he’s ever coached. No industry rewards failure like the NFL.
Wisconsinites cannot afford the Biden-Baldwin partnership any longer. That is why

Some optimism here, though the movement is also within the poll's margin. The Kelly campaign seems to be talking to the right people and driving Janet P's unfavs up.
Shocked to see another WI election coming down to the wire.
EXCLUSIVE: We have obtained a new internal poll from Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) that shows conservative Supreme Court candidate Daniel Kelly trailing liberal Janet Protasiewicz by just 2 points (well within the poll's margin of error)

This wasn’t as much of a problem when you’d camp out for days to get the best season tickets for the major sports. The most hardcore fans had the best seats and it sorted itself out from there.
Also the process for getting them seated is terrible.
Reminder that the ownership bought this team for $223M and it’s now worth $1.61B. I know that the contract says the stadium district is on the hook for repairs but this proposal is ballooning fast and the rest of WI shouldn’t have to pay for it. I say this as a Brewers fanatic.

Only 11% of voters can name their state legislator.
Knocking doors matters. Outreach matters. Earned media matters.
Quality candidates that do these things can win in almost any district.
Republican Senate candidate Eric Hovde is now within 3 points of Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin in the latest Emerson College poll of Wisconsin voters. Last month, Baldwin had a 7 point lead.
California literally paid for yesterday's weak "protest" of Hovde's Senate kickoff at the building his company owns, in the city he lives, next to another building called "The Hovde Building" with their name on it.
@JayWeber3
Fun Fact: Democrat Party of WI total donations from California in 2023 = $6,689,889
Dem Party of WI total donations from WI in 2023 = $2,175,169
The Dem Party of WI literally has 3x the support from Californians as it does from Wisconsinites.
Explains their liberal policies.
If you are running for office (or re-election, for that matter) and spend significant time on social media, thinking you are winning X or Facebook wars- instead of knocking on doors, meeting voters, and raising money, drop out now. Save yourself and your team's time, as well as

DA’s like John Chisholm need to be systematically replaced before anything changes. No laws matter when the person entrusted to enforce them doesn’t care. San Francisco’s citizens had enough and threw theirs out. It’s Milwaukee’s turn.
My latest at the MacIver Institute (
@MacIverWisc
): Ranked-choice voting is a needlessly overcomplicated, blatantly unconstitutional nightmare and should be immediately and universally rejected here in Wisconsin.
Suing the legislature for *checks notes* exercising the power of the purse and blocking administrative rules... this should be the shortest dismissal in history but instead I look forward to seeing how a Dane Co judge will twist the law into a pretzel to rule in his favor.
What’s the point of a giant season ticket waiting list when the current fans just flip their tickets to the opposing team? Gold package needs to be on the chopping block. The packers haven’t played in Milwaukee in 30 years. Enough.
I’m becoming a broken record but shine a light on these politicians and let their constituents know who they really are and things change in a hurry right

One student walks past protesters booing their demonstration. UW police monitor closely.

I always laughed at the “car is parked in my spot” mass emails because it was almost always a D that sent it. Really protective of the gov’t perks.
🚨 new AFP ad alert! 🚨
Tammy Baldwin has been in elected office for over 30 years with next to nothing to show for it.
@EricHovde
will step in on day one and deliver.
.
@EricHovde
knows that the problems politicians cause keep piling up.
He has a record of solving problems by bringing people together and he's ready to deliver for Wisconsin in Washington.
He'll work to create jobs, drive down inflation, and secure our border!
I know one way to clear things up once and for all. Release the 17,000 emails the alias sent. Allegedly, he hasn’t used it in years so it shouldn’t be a big problem and it’s a .gov address so it’s all public.
#releasetheemails
Following an economic roundtable at Milwaukee City Hall today,
@GovEvers
addressed his use of an alias email address:
“This works. The system works…it is not illegal; people can still access the information they want.”
Ahh
@ltvebber
the perfect storm of two bumbling bureaucracies. DNR with a pointless policy and Milwaukee totally dropping the ball for months and months only to realize it now.
The Milwaukee DPW announced Tuesday it would no longer collect Christmas trees curbside, citing a DNR policy.
Then the DNR revealed it told DPW about this back in February. Meanwhile, other communities don't have this problem because they mulch the trees:
Quite the confluence of people that wrap themselves up in the flag and are reveling in a Team USA loss. Look, this is a big country. People think different things. They can say what they want. You don’t have to agree. But we should still back the greatest country in the world.
Once again, Joe nails the Dem hypocrisy over maps. These islands they cite exist because they're part of municipal boundaries and more often than not don't have any voters and are instead things like industrial areas, golf courses etc.

You must get about 2/3 of the way into the article before you find the key sentence:
"In 1992, a federal judicial panel considering a Wisconsin redistricting lawsuit essentially endorsed detached legislative districts."

These badgers losses are frustrating but they’ve lost their QB1, RB1, RB2, WR1, TE1 and TE2 so yeah the offense is a bit of a struggle right now. Add in that Chryst didn’t have a recruiting dept for a year and a half and depth is a huge issue.
