Indian education is far too reliant on coaching classes. No policy drive to change this. A large number of students only being taught how to crack exams, not to think.
That reflects in our abilities to innovate, discover no?

Cholesterol is not the body's go-to molecule for energy. It's carbs - glucose, followed by fatty acids (fasting) and then amino acids (>>>> starving). NOT cholesterol.

your thoughts?
Flaws with interpretation for humans.
- we don't consume extracts
- we don't inject turmeric into our blood (IP route)
- whole turmeric is added as a spice to food. It's not a stand alone item to eat.
This brought cheer. Given longer lifespan, entirely new second careers a big possibility for many of us. Systems to support and encourage this necessary.
For comparison, in 2L Sambhar, you’ll add 2tsps (10g) of turmeric. Even if you consume 1L over the course of the day, total intake ~5mg. @ 10% of mass, curcumin consumption = 0.5mg.
Trial dose: 1500mg

As knowledge seekers, and for some, as friends.
These initiatives do much to highlight the importance of mental health in professional lives. Would have been nice to have postdocs and grad students on this panel. Ideas of established leaders with safe jobs need to be in sync with uncertain futures of young scholars.
As a young researcher what do we do when we are stressed and anxious? What role can be expected from a supervisor? What is an institute's responsibility?
Do register () for a panel discussion.10th October @ 5pm, joined by PSA.
