Yesterday, I received an email from candidate @freddieoconnell . To me, it is one of the best campaign emails I’ve received in a LONG time. It’s sincere. Personal. It’s not “trying” too hard while being informative.

Just left an event at CFMT - hearing from nonprofits helping mothers - almost every single one of them mentioned the need of a better transit system in Nashville to be able to better serve mothers who desperately need their help.

1 year ago I couldn’t walk a block without struggling to breathe (covid long hauler - despite always having negative tests). After my 2nd vax I had three days of terrible symptoms (similar to everything I experienced last year) and then poof it was all gone!! (1/2)

I imagine this was an extremely hard decision, but it is one that I respect immensely. In the 2019 campaign we often reminded him to not say “4 years” in case he ran again— and his focus was ALWAYS on the next 4 years and not campaigning.

In case anyone is wondering how my brain works — today we bought a dog trailer for a bike…despite not owning a bike in Nashville. I made a deal with henry 🐶 — if he can get in it (fully zipped) and not react to a cat or bunny — I’ll buy an e-bike.

A month ago I decided my headaches from 1 cocktail or 2 glasses of wine aren’t worth it anymore - @mattahertz joined me and we’ve found some great NA options. The trend of NA options in Ireland has been incredible - they are being marketed as the #1 option everywhere we’ve been!

I love taking transit with friends. What’s better than that? Taking transit for free with the whole city! For Nashville Coming Together — Saturday’s inauguration, we have transit trek meetups around the city. If you’ve never ridden before, give it a try.

Practicing riding (inside) while dad holds steak to make sure there is no way he can jump out when he sees 🐱 or 🐰. Progress people. Progress. We’ve gone outside a few times and will try a run this weekend. Then…bike time!
