Unprompted, one of our favorite customers shared a sweet message with us yesterday 🙏🏾❤️ We get our produce from a farmer in White House & we sell every Sunday afternoon at a very low cost thanks to CSA subscriptions. Food sovereignty is the goal!!

On my bike ride I saw two of the families in our Napier community program ❤️. They spoke of the shooting last night—I had heard shots & then a mom called to tell me she fell dodging bullets. 😢 I also rode by unhoused neighbors in a tent community. I want more for all of them. 💔

Visiting my mom who always had CNN on as I usually only get highlights but I’m really disappointed with @ErinBurnett @OutFrontCNN interview with Rep. Jamaal Bowman! She really had some nerve! She’s almost as bad as Majorie w/how she engaged him. CNN is truly changing!!

What day is today?! 😫Woke up so tired from being at the council meeting for 6 hours last night. I do love being around my “pew homies” and sharing snacks. Excited to get out of bed to use The Horn giftcard from @Aggish . I might need to order two chai’s to make it through today🥱

days of my life as a metro employee! This would’ve never happened to me as an educator in NYC. But think about how “P” & his family felt! They soon left Nashville 😢.Not all SRO’s are like that one but the point is students are arrested often regardless of what CM Nash quoted 5/5

Now my yearly dream/goal is to help at least 3 teens from Napier go out the country. As that’s how this trip came about. A teen from Napier was selected to go on her school’s explorer trip but couldn’t afford it & when she told me it was too late to assist. This trip taught me 2/

When you’ve been working long hours the last 6 days, plus a weekend of hosting community meals (helping cook for hundreds of people is beautiful & tiring btw), a few hours on the water is just want I needed. So grateful to my friend @slovick2 for always being down for a paddle.

informed me that she wasn’t the SRO’s boss 😡😭 So 10 yr/old “P” was placed in cuffs. I’m in tears typing this as I’ve never felt so helpless in a school building before. Then I was tasked w/making a home visit to inform the mom that her baby son was arrested! One of the worst 4/

I listened to this 1to1 talk in its entirety & it’s so good!! FOC did a great job of sharing the need of a Black music scene/presence. I’ve known Freddie for 7 years & Demetria was the first “celebrity” I met at age 8.I even wrote her a letter once. #readyForFreddie #IwantToStay

I 💗 sports! Especially 🏒 🥅 🎾& 🏈. I realized something @ NSC game last night (thanks to a sweet friend’s invite)…I’ve been grieving the 💗 I have for the Titans. There wasn’t much talk about how some of us were holding mixed emotions calling out a team we grew up loving. 😥

Outside having fun with my neighbors. I’m on kid duty as the families attend the annual neighborhood Thanksgiving giveaway with Mr. 💯 and LT. I spotted a future futbol player w/ Shaq Moore’s hoodie that he handed out at his give back event in JC/UC this week! ♥️
