Bernie Sanders is running daily COVID-19 discussions, leading the fight for public health & stimulus measures that focus primarily on the people most in need, & raising money for charity. What has Joe Biden done over the past five days? And why isn't the media covering this?

Yikes. Very bad look from @ewarren here. Questions about the Democratic primary calendar are totally legitimate, Amy Goodman asked hers in a reasonable way, and Goodman is an important voice for progressive causes.

"The best chance of passing progressive legislation is to elect someone who doesn't support it" should be a hilarious argument to any thinking person. The Times has no actual explanation of how this would be true, of course. It's just vague references to "bipartisan credentials."

The corporate tax rate was 35% under Obama. He proposed cutting it to 28%. Republicans then cut it to 21%. Democrats now want to restore less than half of what the GOP cut, putting the rate at 26.5% (and only for businesses that make over $5 million). And this is the headline. 🙄

Emphasizing antisemitism at this moment is a deliberate tactic used primarily by people who do not care about actual antisemitism to deflect from the mass murder the Israeli government is carrying out and intimidate people who otherwise might more openly oppose that mass murder.

Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and other Democrats will say a lot of nice things about Bernie Sanders now and in the coming months because it is a great way to pretend they support what his movement was all about without having to concede any power.

Here are the results of the poll that Establishment Democrats who hate Bernie Sanders & his economic justice advocacy are so upset about.

Let @amyklobuchar , @PeteButtigieg , & @BetoORourke endorsing @JoeBiden remind you of the choice in this election. We can have the continued prioritization of corporate interests over basic human rights or the people-powered social justice movement led by @AOC & @BernieSanders .

Disappointing that @ewarren ’s Medicare For All financing plan accepts the misleading media/Establishment Democrat/Republican talking point about taxes and gets gimmicky rather than embracing better policy while demonstrating how deceptive that talking point is.

No, Joe, Medicare is *not* "headed toward bankruptcy." Today, with no changes, the Hospital Insurance (HI) trust fund is still projected to be able to pay 85 percent of costs in 2092. Its budgetary challenges (exacerbated by tax cuts) are easily fixable.

Medicare today is headed toward bankruptcy. Even if you taxed the rich, slashed military spending, threw in a massive carbon tax and did everything else said here, you wouldn’t save existing entitlement programs. To EXPAND them under current fiscal conditions is economic suicide.

Anecdotes like this illustrate the most likely reason @HillaryClinton had so many more endorsements than @BernieSanders in the 2016 primary.
