What an amazing tournament this PSPC is. Guy wins platinum pass and min cashes + 5k ladder for 40k total. Had wife on rail they are hugging and in tears cause this is 2 years wages for him, so cool to see

Came up short in 2nd in the @WSOP $7777. Grats to Jared Strauss who I’d never heard of. He def played the best at the ft. I look forward to battling him in the live high rollers as it’s obv that’s where he belongs despite most his live results being in $60 south point birds.

I’m always amazed how very famous people are left alone in a poker room. Neymar was playing at the table right beside me recently and I don’t think I saw one person bother him. On the street he’d be mobbed in no time

I try to teach my kids it’s not all about 1st. As long as they give 100%. That the best could play 50 and get all 2nds. There’s a lot of variance in life, and look at all the people I did beat. And tough fields. And if they don’t fully agree well then they’re fucking grounded

Once I was playing a large field 25k tourney. I was busted by a friend and they looked at me and out of the blue said “you get a 1% freeroll”. The next day they came by my table and gave me 10k of the 1 million they won. Who the hell in poker could be this nice?

3+ weeks into @WSOP and I have to say, the experience has significantly improved with the move to Paris and Ballys. Also…… -Much less 10 handed -Better quality cards (don’t dent as easy) -More staff at cages for quicker in/out -Improved space/comfort Well done 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

What’s the main argument against using 4 color decks in live poke? Mix games would play faster for sure, would be helpful in plo also. I don’t see a downside….maybe some people see as an edge with 2 color cause they never misread flushes etc in stud games?

4. A deceitful top player playing other accounts or taking them over when deep and/or using RTA are massive threats to online poker and it’s too easy to do. Hence why I said anything in the first place. Bravo to @WSOPcom for looking into it and doing something about it

Biggest takeaway from first week at wsop is how fast nearly everyone is playing these days. Had a couple of very slow guys (pros) in the first 5k but couldn’t believe the speed of the mystery bounty tables I played. Also now 9 handed, these tourneys are about 10x more
