Bought Poland's Dekpol $del.wa at the lows in 2022 at 1.2x earnings. Loved the company. High margins, founder run, great product, macro- tailwinds. Sold it recently for an 88% gain. It then went parabolic. 😭

Burnham Holdings. $burca They build, sell, and service hvac equipment in the Philly area. $58mm market cap. Trades at ~6x earnings. Averages 10% growth since 2020. 7% Div yield 🙄 Heavy Capex in 2024 and Q1 saw lower sales sales. But they have a neat product on the way! (1/2)

$cpng has exposure to 75mm people via Korea and Taiwan. $se has exposure to over 800mm people! Yet $cpng has more revenue than $se. Why? Geography, density, growth stage, etc. And Wealth: Korea has 8x the GDP per capita as Indonesia!

What is it with some companies & their IR folk. Reviewing a French company stock. It’s been on my buy list for a long time. Annual report is nearly 500 pages. They spell out and explain everything except the €470 million in fair value they lost YoY from fuel, gas & power hedges.

I get it: SBC frees up cash for other things. Engineers expect it. When you're growing fast, you need every penny. $snow's SBC is 40% of revenue. Some SAAS companies are essentially private companies (all cash returned to insiders) who exploit public markets for capital raises.

Roche $rhhby looks interesting here. Although patent for their 2nd biggest drug, Hemlibra, expires this month, they have a very diverse product set and pipeline. Forward PE of around 14x. Strong balance sheet. High ROIC. Rev CAGR 4% or so. Pretty big Moat. Thoughts?

Visited the BYD showroom in Guatemala City today. They had the Yuan, Song, and Tang on display. Each was very impressive/luxurious. The Song is a gas/ plug-in hybrid. Range: 100km on battery and 1,000km on gas. $41k USD. $byddy
