My boys got to meet Coach Donoher for the first time right after Parker was born in 2008. Back then we saw him around town all the time. When I was a kid, I couldn’t imagine meeting someone like him. But he was always extremely gracious with his time. Just the nicest man.

I thought Archie would do well. I think IU is a bigger job - but I also think Dayton is a better job. I don’t think Archie believed it possible what the Flyers did last year. I think it’s why he chased the bigger job. I think AG always believed last year was possible.

Have to give SLU credit - they really battled. I never felt comfortable the whole game. Every time I started to feel somewhat comfortable, SLU would make a run. Survive and move on!

@TomDaytonFlyers He will get cheered at the beginning - but that will be it. The Rhody game will now always take on added significance and the fans will cheer even harder throughout the game. Rhody is not Dayton and we will want Archie to understand that every single moment.
