Sometimes it’s not your story to tell. That’s okay. As a stage/screen actress as well, there are some characters you cannot audition for. It is NOT the end of the world. Acting is living TRUTHFULLY under imaginary circumstances.

Voice Actors, Know when to step aside! If a character has a minority background that you don't identify with (eg. they're POC and you are not, they're trans and you are not), consider leaving that one for an actor of that background to have a go. Pave the way for your peers!
