We admitted a man o/a covid-19. CPAP was his 'tight' . He was🤏🏽 close to intubation. Had ?PE and all. Finally left ICU on NRM and weeks on nasal prongs. After about 66 days he left the centre. Yesterday he called to say he had resumed work and is able to drive. Big covid win💪🏾❗

Rural Ghana needs okada tbh. Access roads to some places are actually foot paths which can only be accessed by okada. Ban them in the cities but legalise them in rural areas. @Citi973 @kokui_selormey @benkoku #CitiCBS

Many overate these doctors thanks to the massive PR around their “chew and pour” grades. Book-smart and nerdy but are they humane? That’s what you should be caring about most. Do they have improvising skills or they just moan endlessly about lacking tools until you die?

Referring a case from a district to a tertiary facility is not for the faint- hearted. Tertiary facilities not have ICU bed space and staff, relatives can't afford ICU care, district doctors have also reached their limit. Ghana really cast😩😩😩

Pple go to public sec schools. and still go uptee to study likewise pple go to private ones and attend public unis. It's not entirely the school. Partly depends on you! You the child and your money. Just make sure you don't leave your ward with student loans. @benkoku #CitiCBS

Sometimes facility doesn't "pay the fees" so you need to fight that battle. You have kids in school, rent to pay, dash people something small here and there(they won't believe doctor can be broke), fuel your car, eat etc...

Hopefully you pass your finals at age 34. You go back to the facility that "sponsored" you and serve them for say another 3 years (37years). You want to go back and become a snr. Specialist so you go through the 3 year cycle again (41years)...
