Randomly remembered an incident... Many years ago, one of the scholars of Hind visited Misr. He said to them: يا أهل مصر! لماذا تحلقون لحاكم؟ "O people of Egypt! Why do you shave your beards?" 1/2

So our teacher told us a story... Many years ago, a thief, after a night of looting, went with his rucksack of good to the Masjid to pray Fajr. That day, the Imam was feeling extra energised, so decided to recite Surah Taha. He reached the Aayah... و ما تلك بيمينك يا موسى

I am so Hanafi i have named my children... Haneef, Ahnaf, Hunayf & Haneefah Even the air i breathe in isn't H2O... It's just H3... H for Hanafiyyah. I'm so Hanafi, the only utensils I have at home are cooking bowls (Qudoor). In my Du'as, the only Hidayah seek is Murghinaani's.

1. Hanafis don't claim to be a Madhab of Ahlul Hadeeth. Literally, everyone knows that. 2. Sahabah themselves had differences of opinion amongst themselves, let alone the people after them. Otherwise, from the beginning, there would be just the one way following by everyone.

Hot take: We, as a collective, should not have validated the hanafi madhab. Even if it is valid to follow, it should have been textually documented better that they’re not a madhab of ahlul hadith, making it a deficient madhab. Then perhaps there wouldn’t be such a thing as

Just thinking out loud... If someone is hell bent on marrying multiple women. Start off by marrying a woman from a place where polygny is common. It'll save you a lot of hassle. Women are very envious by nature as well as possessive. If they're not conditioned, it's torture.

@em7861 If i may throw my 2p in... Studying something doesn't mean you have to act upon it. Polygny is permissible. Learning that does not mean it need to be "for them". By nature, women are envious & possessive, so they'd seldom willingly embrace a co-wife.

As a guy, if you are going through mental health problems, like really bad ones, where often you find yourself getting thoughts of jumping off a bridge or whatever. Allah aşkına... Do NOT get married with those issues unresolved/unaddressed. Currently seeing a marriage crumble

Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنه spent many years as a child in the service of Rasūlullah ﷺ. He ﷺ never cursed him, nor did he hit him, not even once. But if his family ever scolded him, he ﷺ would say: "Leave him! If it was meant to be, it would have been." - Hayaatus Sahabah

Two lines of aqeedah that give me the most comfort: إن شاء اللّٰه يكن وإن لم يشأ اللّٰه لم يكن If Allah wills, it happens and if Allah does not will, it does not happen

I am not saying a guy can not be emotional... You most certainly can, emotions are not restricted to women only. However, as the head of your house, you need to be more emotionally stable. "I said it in anger" is not an excuse nor a justification to blurt whatever you want.

Randomly remembering a convo with a close friend some years back... The topic of Zina came up & at some point, i asked him: What would you do if i became a Zani someday? He said, "I'd beat you up." That answer made me soooooo happy & grateful to Allah ﷻ for such friends.

They were then satisfied. Afterwards, he said: Do you know who Abdullah, Abbas, Haroon etc are? Abdullah is the baker down the road, Abbas is the grocery store owner, Haroon is the barber & so on. My fish brain forgot what happened after. Daleel/Sanad ain't for everyone (2/2)

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 رحم الله مالكا، كا إمامنا Reminds me of those incidents where people disrespected the Prophet ﷺ & Sayyiduna Umar رضي الله عنها seeking permission to dismantle their heads off their body. Passion with regards to Rasūlullah ﷺ originated from Sahābah themselves
