I signed up for twitter 10 years ago today. I had just graduated college and moved to NYC. There was a hurricane (wtf!) and I needed to know if subways were open for my commute from Brooklyn to Manhattan. Honestly it was the most reliable comms I found.

@heylukky @rex_woodbury My hope (or maybe overly optimistic take) is that people will gravitate towards working on things they believe in. Fewer employees, more builders. Capitalism isn't going away but jobs that don't feel socially meaningful will have to pay people WAY more.

@Jenyangwong I think the best way to break into product is to work as closely with customers as you can, learn how to synthesise their pain, and collaborate with eng teams to solve it. Don’t need a PM title for that - support, customer success, solutions engineer - all good entry points.
