@TheSalariedPA The expansion is sudden and massive. No real clarity of role. Trust lost with DHSC, NHSE, GMC. Financial benefit is not proved yet. No expansion of training places for drs but significant expansion of PA prioritised by HEE. Reason? What will this look like in the future?

@ShaunLintern Previously there used to be one secretary for one consultant. Now one secretary covers 5 - 6 consultants and most don't even have a regular secretary. They used to be the link between patients and the consultant and ensure everything gets done on time. No wonder productivity โฌ‡๏ธ

@UKGastroDr @KettGeneral @KGH_CEO @RMitchell_NHS On days when there are no doctors on the rota(due to this rule)the requirements should be for a member of the executive to work with the team with the gap. Once they do shift with a lack of workforce and experience the stress of teams and poor patient care they will reverse this

@ShaunLintern 3 billion could have paid for 3 yrs pay rises. Saved millions of appts which still needs to be done costing billions. Would have also helped the economy in billions. Also the staff morale and good will lose. Overall the strike costs could have funded many yrs of pay increase

What governance was followed? Now that a precedent has been set can we expect them to send similar letters concerning doctor issues to Royal colleges?
