There is still an impressive upper-level rotation (in the cloud, way off the ground), but the storm has been undercut by cold air (at the ground) which is going to make it very difficult for this storm to produce a tornado (at the ground).

This storm has rotation that is strong enough to merit a tornado warning -- and is headed toward Bloomington. It is 20 minutes or so away, and we'll have to watch the rotation to see if it can maintain.

A new area of rotation has popped up between Stinesville and Ellettsville, and I’d be paying attention to it & taking precautions if I was in the northern third of the county. Does not appear to pose a risk to any part of Bloomington that’s north of the bypass.

This storm that popped up west of Bloomington will provide some heavy (and flooding) rains as it moves through the county but the tornado risk doesn’t seem to be there for me. The storm looks to be stuck in the cold air / outflow, reducing tornado chances.

As anticipated, the tornado warning has been allowed to expire. That said, if you get any of the brown/pink pixels over you, expect hail up to quarter-size. And some areas of the county are now into 2-3 inch rain totals -- flooding will occur. *Not* a night to be driving.

Hey Bloomington: I have no idea why the sirens are sounding. The radar presentation is rotating, but weak -- not indicative of an ongoing tornado (of any strength). There is no tornado warning from NWS that I am aware of. [1/2]
