A plea to listen to my nursing colleagues delivering front line care. There’s is genuine concern about the rise in positive tests COVID-19 and impact on patients and services. I have heard Rosie’s message over and over
“Never in my career have I seen colleagues so concerned about the incoming winter. We have no agenda– we’re simply worried for our patients."
Lead Nurse Roisin Devlin makes a plea on behalf of healthcare workers for people not to be complacent.

A special thank you to mental health nurses on mental health nurses day for the fantastic work you do. Mental Health nurses provide evidenced based expert physical, psychosocial, pharmacological and pastoral care supporting people back to recovery.
Many of us will be thinking of loved ones no longer with us. COVID has caused pain and grief for many and my thoughts are with those grieving today as I reflect on the role our HSC has played during this pandemic being there when no one else could.

Seriously! Admin + all other staff support clinical team deliver patient care. Who does
@BelTel
Think arranges clinics, appointments, clinical notes, answers phones, orders stock, recruits staff, pays staff, + more. HSC would collapse without ALL staff. Allows nurses to nurse.
I agree nurses and other staff should have access to water in personal bottles to ensure they can maintain appropriate fluid levels and brain activity as we would all recommend for patients and the population.

role of MH nurses never been so important as during 2020/21. Finding creative ways to engage those effected by mental ill health often only human contact point for people. Acute MH services under severe pressure+ working in v challenging times. Huge Respect 4 all of you👏👏TY
It’s a pity this study refers to Nurses as substitutes for doctors in primary care. Both nurses and doctors bring different models for care, different approaches which when blended provide best outcome as part of a full MDT. ANPs provide advanced nursing skills in a nursing model
Nurses can be just as effective at providing high-quality primary health care as doctors. There's no question that nurses will help to drive the

NURSES It’s very important that staff on shift drink adequate fluids to ensure you are comfortable and sustain yourself to provide care. Extra breaks for rehydration/comfort breaks are essential. You must take time regularly to look after yourself to look after your patients.
To All my AHP colleagues wishing you a ‘ happy AHP day’. Especially during COVID continuing to make a huge contribution to care & a vital part of our system, leading and shaping the future for transformation. Thank you to all for your hard work, dedication + commitment👏👏👏
