Heard today that only 40 out of 150 students in a Kerry secondary school are doing a foreign language for Leaving Cert this year. I find this stat shocking and is it being reflected nationwide? I did Leaving Cert 20 years ago and all 90 students in the year did 1 or 2 languages.

Something needs to change in Aviva. Poor game but given a Championship to be played for, atmosphere very subdued. In the 35th minute, there were more people outside at the bars than sitting in their seats watching the on field action. If you want to be in pub, watch it in a pub.
