Well folks, I’m going into hermit mode until Monday to work on the game, and I’ll be posting some tidbits next week.
In the meantime, leave me some comments below on what you wanna see in a TTRPG, and what you’re looking forward to in ours!
Winston calls… gotta go!
The Japanese Snow Fairy, is one of the deadliest predatory birds ever designed by, well, the Devil I assume!
Its claws exude a terrifying 0.000000013 foot pounds of pressure, and its razor sharp beak can puncture nearly any light paper bag, if the bag is wetted first.
Doom!
I’m a big fan of old school D&D art, so I figured I’d make a thread.
We’ll start with one of my favourite pieces by Daniel R Horne.
This piece implied two things to me.
First, in an era where dungeons were a big focus, this was a wilderness encounter, cool!
Second, DANGER!
Well all, today is my last day at Wizards of the Coast. I am moving back home to Canada, in order to be closer to my family. It has been a joy working on D&D and MtG, and I am lucky to have met so many great folks along the way. Stay tuned!

Just an FYI on this cover.
Tyler is one of the kindest, and most talented people I’ve ever met. He’s as adept with oil paints as he is with a digital brush, and he always puts his heart into things.

As many of you are aware, we’re working on a TTRPG. Based on your experience in buying TTRPGs, what makes you say, “damn, this is a great product, how do I buy it!?” What gets you most excited?
I have loved drawing since I was a kid, and drawing allows me to share a part of myself with others.
AI image generators sadden me for this very reason. It means I will never see YOUR art. Instead, I will see images generated by a machine algorithm.
I’d much rather see your art
The first image contains the NPC headshots I did for Out of The Abyss, but I had started with some three quarter view shots in the second image.
I liked the 3/4 view drawings, but the straight forward shots really helped me imagine them as a whole.
That was a busy night.
Look,
#VisibleWomen
is great. HOWEVER it brings to light an issue I talk about frequently: how few women artists email their work to Art Directors directly. There are SO many women currently sharing their work that I know 100% know AD names & should be emailing us their...
