My husband called from the airport yesterday coughing and said that his eyes were red. Said it was "just a cold." I demanded that he stay overnight at a rental and take a same-day PCR in town today. He just tested positive and is mad at me for "being right."

I finally went to my GP for the first time in five years wearing goggles and an Aura N95. He said,"That's a little overkill, don't you think?" To which I replied, "I was going to wear a PAPR." He had no idea what a PAPR is, and of course I told him more than he wanted to hear.

@squirrelpalooza We don't and never will. Even in the thick of it, at a big research university when my daughter got it. I needed to jump in and pretend to be a doctor. No quarantine procedures at a VERY large university. We needed to have a united effort with protocols in place.

@amethystarlight Thank you. I hope that I made an impact because he has two little ones. He was wearing an N95 and his assistant a baggy blue, but no one else there was wearing a mask, not even elderly patients who were using walkers. It was very sad to see.
