It’s liberating to wear a mask. It’s liberating to not be conned into getting sick all the time, to take your health and future into your own hands and decide you are going to do what you can to survive and to encourage those around you to do the same. It’s liberating to resist

Wearing a mask in public settings isn’t virtue signalling, it is actually virtuous. Not harming people is virtuous. Seems weird that people are bothered by that. Of course people with no morals think that moral people doing moral things are just signalling.

Well I got the vaccine so now I’m immune. But then I caught Covid, so I guess now I must be immune. But then I caught Covid again, so I guess now I must be immune. But then I caught Covid again, so I guess now I must be immune. But then I caught Covid again, so I guess now…

People acting like athletes exposing other athletes at the Olympics to Covid is really bad form must contend with the fact that they are doing that to babies every time they are out in public without a mask on. Either Covid is bad or you falsely believe it isn’t, no half measures

A population decline is a coming. Even if Covid were to disappear tomorrow, a lot of that damage has already been done. The consequences are baked in. Our whole capitalist system relies on the assumption that things will keep growing, they won’t. The system has to change.

For those who think that Covid is over and we’re back to normal, how do you explain all the performers and artists cancelling concerts and tours and even dropping mid show? Cause if that isn’t Cסvid, what is it? And because it is Cסvid, how isn’t this happening to everyone?

“Ooh” she says slowly and looks away at her screen. She looks a bit confused for a second before looking up at me and responding “It’s just that we have to do more cleaning if it’s covid.” “We don’t have Covid, we’re just trying not to catch it” I reply.

At the very least the fact that everyone is sick and we’re in a surge should make you understand that when they told you Covid was over that they were lying to you. Like come on, this is the minimum you can do to acknowledge reality. The jig is up, wear a mask.

Maybe you believed omicron was mild, and that Covid was only as bad as the flu, and that immunity debt is why everyone has been so sick, and that after months and months of mass infection we have an immunity wall. If you believed all that then why is it surging again? Why?

The “lockdowns hurt so bad” rhetoric is just internalized subservience to your capitalist overlords who need you to believe that any disruption to the constant flow of wealth and power up to them is akin to society falling apart. It’s for those bastards, you’re carrying water

You swear it’s mild like the flu cause you need it to be. Tell yourself masks don’t work because you need them not to. You repeat obvious lies like that only unhealthy people get sick. You’re flailing, desperate, throwing tantrums, and yet you accuse me of being afraid?

I won’t regret letting people know where I stand with Covid, both on here and in my personal life. Because there are horrors coming. And I can only imagine facing those horrors with a clear conscience.

I just want to reiterate that the “kids needs socialization for character building” as a justification to put children at risk during an ongoing horrible pandemic is coming from a generation who had nothing but “socialization” and still turned out to be giant assholes.
