Our seemingly spry 14 year old dog took a turn for the worst yesterday. All of a sudden he couldn't walk or stand and was clearly in pain. An emergency vet trip showed liver cancer that had metastasized throughout his whole body. We put him to rest today. He was the sweetest dog.

@mryoung151 They tried to do this to me when I went to the ER last year. I refused. Told her I would put it over my n95, to which she finally relented. But she made sure to tell me, while scowling, that I wasn’t supposed to do that. Me: Pointing out maskless patients. Her: u’ve got ur 6ft.

@kristiecsu I *already* have long covid? Did you really just say that? It’s not a passport stamp. It’s a set of symptoms that can and will worsen with reinfection, possibly even kill me. Is knowingly causing the mother of your child to be maimed or killed a “grown up decision” to you?

Sometimes I toy with the idea of unmasking. FLEETINGLY. I'm so tired of the way I'm treated just for wearing a mask, but I know too much to ever decide to knowingly put my child, my family, in danger. I know too much. How do the people that know what we know end up maskless?

“During Covid” …..and that told me everything I needed to know. We no longer live the same Reality. The pandemic ended for him “in his mind” when he retired his N95 in Spring ‘23. 2 infections this year, 3 in ‘23, and 1 in ‘20. Now FACTS bother him. BTW he WAS one of us.

FINALLY got an apartment. We went to go get some cleaning supplies and we saw 2 masked cashiers. 🙌🙌 😷😷😷 We went through the guy's line and he gave us a HUGE smile and was extra friendly. Made my day!! 🩵🩵🩵

Tried a different dentist in the area today. On the phone they told us we would talk about their infection prevention policies when we got there. Woke up early for the appointment to find out no one there masked. At all. Not even surgicals. I said, "Never mind," and walked out.
