Now that I’ve burned through my life’s savings in the two years I’ve been disabled by #LongCovid My biggest concerns are no longer the devastating symptoms - They have now shifted to how am I going to feed and shelter myself. I cannot be the only one here.

It’s become clear that #COVID19 was the *perfect* disease to expose and highlight the the full spectrum of human compassion & empathy. It has cast a spotlight on what people are truly made of and what is important to them, despite there claims. It’s been stunning and telling.

What should have been said in 2020 - #COVID19 is a neuro-vascular disease that causes ARDS in many. Organ & longterm autonomic dysfunction are more common outcomes. On any given infection someone may develop these complications or little to no symptoms at all. There is no cure.

Why don’t we just stop calling it #LongCovid honestly - and just call it COVID and admit: It’s a virus-disease you can catch over and over, and each time you catch it, it may last 0-1000+ days and may contribute to life altering disability. I think that’s more accurate.
