The club was very sad to hear of the passing of our former player Drew Busby. Drew was with the Vale from 1967 till 1970 and was part of the 1970 Evening times league championship winning side.
Our sincere condolences go out to his family, he was a true local legend of the game.
Our thoughts are currently with first team manager Brian Brown and his brother Alan who lost their grandfather Jimmy last week after a short illness. Jimmy, a former season ticket holder at Millburn, was a great supporter of his sons James and David & their footballing careers.

Already missing the injured King, Cameron, Stewart and Furze, Vales injury woes continued as captain Stephen Griffen was taken off in the 1st half with a broken arm that sees him ruled out for the rest of the season. We all wish Stephen a speedy recovery
The only game on grass in the West Juniors this afternoon. Not so pretty at full time but 3 points makes it all worthwhile just a wee bit hard work required to put it all back together
