Since 1961, Commando Comics have been the Home Of Heroes. Commando is Britain's longest-serving — and best — war comic for stories of action and adventure.
It is with heavy hearts that we pay tribute to our dear friend Ian Kennedy.
His legacy in the comics world will continue to inspire and bring joy. For Commando, Ian was our Squadron Leader and our best pilot. We salute him.
Our thoughts are with Ian’s family at this time.

With heavy hearts, we mark the passing of one of Commando’s most beloved artists, Mario Morhain. Morhain began working on Commando as an interior artist in 2000 and continued to do so until his sad passing in May. He is sorely missed by all at Commando.
This month marks the 80 year anniversary of the formation and creation of our legendary namesake — The British Commandos! But have any of you lot took a jaunt up to Lochaber, Scotland, to see the Commando Memorial? Our editor did it last year! - QM

Did ya know? In 1942, a pigeon named Winkie saved a Lancaster bomber crew when she flew 120 miles home. Her owner alerted the RAF whose rescue mission found the crew in 15 minutes! Now it may not have heroes called Winkie, but issue 5334 has Lancasters aplenty! - QM
