Everyone at Greenock Juniors is shocked to hear of the sudden passing of Ryan McDonald. A former player, this who knew him would agree he was a fine player, but even better person. Everyone at the Club extends our thoughts and prayers to his family at this difficult time.

Travis Stracey. Delighted to announce the signing of a top young prospect from Greenock Morton. Managed to capture Travis’s signature after interest from a host of Premier league clubs.
Despite tough competition we have secured Ben Docherty for a further two years. A young talented, modern day central defender with excellent distribution skills, Ben improved markedly last season and will remain on an upward trajectory going forward.

Gary Pettigrew played for Port Glasgow juniors for the best part of 8 / 9 years. Someone we know all about and someone we’ve had always tremendous respect for and we’re glad he’s on our team. Gary is comfortable in a range of defensive and midfield positions.
Aiden Marner has joined the group, again from Largs. Aiden is a left sided midfielder/winger. Aiden has great development potential and we look forward to seeing significant progression during the season.
