This is a horrendous decision by @glasgowlife Your mission statement says you want to 'inspire the city's citizens to lead richer lives through culture and learning.' Closing Maryhill Library is a strange way of doing that 😡

Very proud to say that Glasgow’s temporary hospital at the SEC will be named NHS Louisa Jordan, after a First World War nurse born in Maryhill and a national hero in Serbia.

Three seasons ago we struggled to sell half a dozen replica kits (it wasn't for the want of trying). Put them up on twitter a couple of hours ago and we've got orders for 25. Give folk a good product at a fair price and everyone is happy.

Absolutely gutted to report that club stalwart Andy Donnachie has passed away. Andy was a long-time committee member and our first ever team manager. More than that, though, he was a genuinely lovely guy and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him ❤️

Wanted to let @PartickThistle fans know that we're red-hot favourites to sign Allan Sinclair-Taylor. Allan is 38-years-old but keeps fit by playing bowls in Maryhill Park and darts in the nearby Rams Head pub. Be careful what you wish for!

Pains us that no fans will see us begin a new chapter in our 136-year history, especially when we have the space at Lochburn and the will to ensure adequate social distancing. Seems all too easy to simply issue a blanket ban on fans rather than assessing each ground individually.

This morning, like all other clubs in the old West Region, we were invited to retain membership of the SJFA. We decided against it. This is a new beginning for us and while that means we won't be eligible to enter the Scottish Junior Cup, we're comfortable with our decision.
