So much creativity & care went into finishing painting our clay dragon eyes in Dosbarth Oak! Inspired by the Welsh legend of the two dragons & the magical illustrations from Ga i ddraig by Welsh illustrator @JackieMorrisArt . We even wrote poems about our imaginary dragon friends

Peter was more than a governor to Usk School; he was a friend & always championed the school & our community. For him, nothing was too much trouble & every barrier had to be overcome; if it would help the children, then he just made it happen. Peter will be sadly missed 💙.

We’re desperately sad to announce the death of our friend and colleague Cllr Peter Clarke. County councillor for Llangybi since the 1980s, he was the father of our council and will be dearly missed by so many in Monmouthshire. A life lived to the full and a great loss to us

What a way to end this term! We loved our Easter Bonnet Parade and it was so special to share this with the WHOLE SCHOOL family again after being apart for such a long time. There were so many amazing hats on display & great fun was had by all. 🥳🐇🐣🥳
