At three o’clock Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Thank you for the help.. decided against a halo, but there's still a glimpse of gold around the wounds in His wrists.Painting finished.

Agony in the Garden: This painting portrays a 'dark' Eden rather than the olive groves of Gethsemane, reflecting the temptation of Adam. Look for Judas with the armed crowd and the trees that form crosses around Jesus, who is utterly alone. Psalm 44 later.

4/30... the Nativity Please click for the whole image. If you look carefully you'll see that the clouds are made of angels, guiding us towards the newborn baby Jesus. The star of Bethlehem is surrounded by all the colours of the rainbow... pure white light. Number 5 tomorrow.

14/30 This depicts the Transfiguration and also the Holy Trinity. The figures are a mix of styles. God the Father is shown in the form of the Cosmos within a halo of gold. Can you find the depiction of the Holy Spirit? It takes a little imagination. 15 tomorrow.

Psalm 5 tomorrow. Here's an image of the Transfiguration... and the trinity too... if you look carefully. The fractured background represents 'a thin place' where the boundaries of heaven and earth are barely tangible. Jesus is pure light, the embodiment of the whole spectrum.
