@Lasurak @AltHistCody They didn't give a reason, they just fixed the issue. Fallout 2 has functional cities, new settlements being built, established tribes with farms and social structures. There was still plenty of wasteland, but society was well into the rebuilding phase.

@C_U271D The prequels are completely coherent stories, he just focuses too much on special effects and can't write dialogue to save his life. You take the exact plotlines of that trilogy and give them to someone else to rewrite the characters as human beings and they'd be 8/10 films.

There were spikes and troughs, but they would cancel out after a few years. Now the spikes are smaller, but it's *always* going up. It's only "stable" due to massive debt.

The guy who discovered saltpeter didn't create modern warfare.
